Shooting Script
Risk Assessment
Location
The primary location for filming will be taking place down Steeplestone Close which is a dead end road.
Hazards | Procedures |
Vehicles | Prior to filming we must ensure that the road is completely clear, making sure that there are no pedestrians who could be in danger. |
Weather | If it starts to rain profusely we must halt production as the equiptment is being borrowed from the school, thus not wanting to damage electricals. |
Location
The secondary location we will be filming at will be the interior of the house.
Hazards | Procedures |
Fire | If in an emergency where we need to exit the building in case of a fire, we have assigned evacuation points. |

Recce Form
PRODUCTION: The Street
DATE: Wednesday 2nd March 2011
TIMES OF DAY: Anytime between 11:00 - 3:30pm
TIMES OF DAY: Anytime between 11:00 - 3:30pm
ADDRESS: 45 Steeplestone Close, London, N18 1JH
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS: None
MISCELLANOUS: N/A
OBSERVATIONS: Good space to film, easily accessible
LOCATION: The filming location where our soap opera is based in is Steeplestone Close where there is a narrow road and the houses are conjoined. This road will be the main set in which our soap will be filmed in.
FILMING: We will film the scenes of where the car drives into the road and outside the house.
NECESSITIES: The location had no interruption from drivers and pedestrians. The summer daylight is a key factor, which we had to keep consistent if we had more shooting to do. The reason for choosing this particular road is because it has the main setting and an establishing sense of community which is necessary for soap operas.
Minutes of the Meeting
Date; 7th of February.
Time; 8:45 am.
People present; Jack, Chris, Gemma, Janki.
- The script was completed and added to the group blog.
- Chris completed the storyboard
- New group blog needed to be created; the reasons for this being Chris was unable to log into his account and when he could all his posts where scattered.
- We also decided that Chris would complete the Recce form along with the group production form.
- I would be completing the shooting script.
- It also came to light that we still needed to take pictures of the locations along with a location recce.
The Street Screenplay/Script Re-Draft
This is our screenplay developed primarily by myself but with the contribution of other group member we coherently agreed that is was appropriate for our soap opera trailer.
